By using the SafeThreads mobile application and related services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Purpose of SafeThreads
SafeThreads is a safety support tool, designed to provide emergency contact information when a garment’s NFC tag is scanned.
SafeThreads is NOT:
- A tracking service
- A monitoring service
- An emergency response service (e.g., 911)
User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information
- Maintain control of NFC-enabled garments
- Understand that SafeThreads supplements — not replaces — supervision
Limitation of Liability
SafeThreads is not responsible for:
- Delays in assistance
- Failure of third parties to act
- Loss, misuse, or unauthorized access to garments or devices
Use of SafeThreads is at the user’s own risk.
NFC Technology Disclaimer
SafeThreads uses NFC technology that requires:
- Compatible devices
- Physical proximity to the NFC tag
We do not guarantee that all devices will successfully scan tags.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for misuse or violation of these terms.
Changes to Terms
Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
